- Take Highway 103 west from Halifax.
- Take exit 12 north onto Highway 10 towards New Germany.
- Drive for 20.8 km to a Building Supplies store on your right.
- Just before that store, turn right on Goose Chase Road (a dirt road).
- Drive for 900 m on the dirt road, to reach the driveway to the Hermitage on your right.
- Turn right on the driveway, and drive carefully for about 370 m to the Hermitage parking area.
