Words of  Welcome

We are an Orthodox monastery of the Brotherhood of St.Seraphim of Sarov, under the spiritual fatherhood of His Grace Seraphim, Bishop of Attawa and Canada (Archdiocese of Canada, Orthodox Church in America). We follow the rules and practices of all monastic communities. While we warmly welcome all visitors, regardless of religion, Holy Communion is open only to Orthodox Christians who have prepared themselves with fasting, confession and prayer.

A monastery is a place of peace where one can find peace from the stress and commotion of the world. As a visitor you are like a pilgrim seeking that spirit of peace. Even for a few hours, you can share our lifestyle. This way of life helps us in the spiritual struggle of the purification of the heart which leads to the Kingdom of God.
